We have unfortunately chosen to keep most of the staff position privileges private, (including commands and what the staff are allowed to do and whatnot) to prevent normal players from applying as a certain staff position only for the positions respective power, but also to make sure that players wont take advantage of a staff member due to knowing what they can and cannot do.

Current Staff Positions

There are currently a few various staff position that the server offers. They are; Helper, Moderator, Admin & Media.

At the moment, you may only apply for Helper in our staff application form, which can be done here, and you may also apply for Media through opening a ticket in our Discord Server in the Support Channel. The other positions are gained through promotions, more specifically you might get promoted to Moderator after being a Helper for a fairly long time, and doing a well enough job, and then Admin is gained the same way after being a Moderator for a long time and / or by doing a good job.

Staff Role Duties

Helper

Helpers are currently mostly responsible of being good role models for the community, as well as helping players in all chats, but also having a higher priority to help players that use /support <message> on the server, and by helping out by responding to support tickets in the Discord Server that are made for simple help questions.

Helpers also to some extent are able to punish players for minor punishments, but this is not their main responsibility. Helper can be applied for through applying in the staff form which can be found here.

Moderator

Moderators are responsible for most things that are generally related to the term moderating, which include keeping an eye out whilst playing on the server, moderating the server as a whole by banning cheaters and rule breakers, and also handling all kinds of support tickets except from staff applications.

Moderators also have some extensive permissions to checking the server logs, including checking block and entity history. You can obtain Moderator from being a Helper for a long enough time and doing a good job.

Admin

Admins are similar to Moderators, however they have much more extensive permissions and privileges and can also access the server panel itself, meaning they can configure the server and handle other things behind the scenes such as taking care of developing & bug fixing.

Different Admins always have different duties and such though, so there is not much that can be said about the position other then that it is the most powerful one. You can obtain Admin from being a Moderator for a long enough time and doing a good job, but most importantly also having the experience to handle a server from a developers perspective, meaning things like knowing how to code or knowing other helpful aspects that are used in the position are essential, however we still review each application differently on a case-by-case basis.

Media

Media Managers are responsible of posting social media content, and generally managing the VulpesMC Social Media Account. The position can be applied for through opening a Staff Application ticket in the VulpesMC Discord Server Support Channel.
